The most crowded event in the cricket world is the ICC ODI World Cup. India is the sole host of this event for the first time. After the release of the tournament schedule, travel fatigue was the biggest headache for Bangladesh along with other competitors. As the matches are held in multiple venues, each country has to travel thousands of kilometers. However, India is not exempted from this despite being the host.

Rohit Sharma's team will travel the most among the competing countries. India tops the list by traveling about 3 thousand kilometers more than any other country. Rohit-Virathara traveled to Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram to play two warm-up matches. The distance between these two cities is about 2 thousand five hundred and eleven kilometers. India played their first match against Australia in Chennai. For this, the players had to travel 623 kilometers from the previous venue. The next match is against Afghanistan in Delhi. For that they have to travel 1 thousand 760 km. All in all, the Indian players will have to cover about 13 thousand kilometers.

Bangladesh is number six in the list of highest travel destinations. The Tigers will travel 8 thousand 978 kilometers to travel to the 7 venues of the event. However, the arch rival Pakistan is behind everyone in this list. Pakistan will play matches in 5 venues in the World Cup. Babar Azam's team will have to travel 6 thousand 892 kilometers for this.

England, Afghanistan and South Africa will travel the second highest distance of 10,000 km. These three countries have to play in 9 venues of the World Cup.

Number five Sri Lanka has to travel more than 9 thousand km. To be played in seven venues. Australia will have to cross about 8 and a half thousand kilometers. Besides, New Zealand will travel a little over 8,500 kilometers for 7 venues. And for 8 venues, the Netherlands will have to cross about 8 thousand kilometers.
