The US has no plans to send US troops to Israel. White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said. He said the U.S. government has no intention of sending troops to Israel, but the U.S. will protect U.S. interests in the region.

The British media BBC reported this information in a report on Tuesday (October 10).

Hamas launched a military operation called 'Operation Al-Aqsa Flood' in Israel from last Saturday to respond to the violation of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site of Muslims, and the persecution of illegal settlers.

The number of Israelis killed in this attack by Hamas exceeds 900. On the other hand, about 700 Palestinians were killed in the Israeli attack in Gaza. In this incident, the United States has sent an aircraft carrier to the coast of Israel. Besides, the country has also announced more military assistance to Israel.

However, the United States has no plans to send US troops to Israel, said John Kirby, spokesman for the White House's National Security Council, on Monday local time. He said more requests for security assistance from Israel are expected, which the United States will try to fulfill as quickly as possible.

Kirby also said there was "no question about Iran's involvement" in supporting Hamas. However, the United States has not found any hard and tangible evidence that Iran was directly involved in Hamas attacks on Israel.

However, a report by the influential US media, the Wall Street Journal, claimed that Iran played a role in helping Hamas prepare for a surprise attack on Israel. However, Iran itself has denied this allegation. 

Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden confirmed that 11 US citizens were killed in the attack by Hamas in Israel. At the same time, he said that there are US citizens among those held by Hamas.

In a statement, he said, "Sadly, we now know that 11 Americans are among the dead." Many of whom were making a second home in Israel.

In the statement, he said, apart from the 11 dead, many others are still unaccounted for. He asserted that the security of American citizens, whether at home or abroad, is my top priority as president.

"We're still working on how many prisoners there are," Biden said. However, it is fairly safe to say that Americans are among the prisoners held by Hamas.
